Today I am excited to bring you an interview with one of our favorite bloggers, a self-proclaimed – tech-savvy cardiothoracic anesthesiologist and intensivist in training – Dr. Rishi. This episode was a bit more non-traditional, we actually did the first 15minutes live on Instagram so you will hear us talking to our Instagram listeners, there a few moments when the sound is quieter, but don’t worry, for all of you listening here, we have the full exclusive interview will all of behind the scene footage! Now, back to Dr. Rishi, Dr. Rishi is a Texas native, he went to college, medical school, and residency near Houston and is now at Harvard doing a dual ICU and Cardiothoracic anesthesiology fellowship. Dr. Rishi, like many of us, grew up as a typical nerd and found school and education to be his passion. Rishi and I really connect on a multitude of levels when we discuss education and our own passion for teaching. In this interview we dive deep discussing his story and his background, his love and passion for teaching medicine, his reset policy he has before entering every new patient’s room, and where he thinks the future of medicine is going. Dr. Rishi is truly an inspiration and he even answers some listeners questions from Instagram. After the first 15 minutes you will hear when we turn off Instagram live and dive into some more personal questions.
